Since we’re right on top of the Summercon festivities, we thought it would be a good idea to give a quick refresher on our code of conduct, or, as we call it, The Unwritten Book of the Road. We’re hackers and we are all about testing the boundaries, but we also believe in empathy, so do your part to make the Summercon world a better place.
1. Don’t harass people.
2. Respect the humans.
3. No means no. Stop means stop.
4. Don’t threaten, stalk, abuse, or intimidate.
5. Don’t make the room worse.
6. Breaking the law is still illegal.
7. Don’t make official spaces creepy, gross, or uncomfortable.
8. Staff in red shirts are empowered to maintain order.
9. Report problems early: 720-586-HACK.
10. Organizers have the final call. No refunds. No drama.
