CFP and Trainings

SummerCon is going dual threat this year. We'll be accepting the normal presentations but also plan to do some training as well. That being said, let's clarify a few things.

  • We'll be having a pre-determined travel/lodging budget (TBD) for each talk. Therefore, we are encouraging groups as we realize that a majority of research isn't accomplished by a single person. Hopefully your group will be able to split up the funds without many problems.

  • We love topics of exploitation, reverse enigneering, etc. This year anything involving: jailbreaking, sofware radio, or device hacking (tv, router, cable box) seems especially interesting.

  • Please see the training page for more information.

  • Please send all inquiries about the CFP process to [email protected].

  • The CFP will conclude on May 1, 2013. Everyone should receive an email by May 3rd regarding their submission.

  • CFP Guidelines (feel free to add more)
    • Abstract
    • Why you think this is a valuable talk
    • Is this new material?
    • Special notes for reviewers
